Hotel Nickel Plate Fishers, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Stayed here for a couple of nights and the hotel did not disappoint. It has a modern, industrial design that is very stylish and very well put together. My room was clean and the bathroom was amazing. They also have a gym that I utilized and it covered all of the basics…perfect for anyone that values fitness. The number one compliment I must give is to the staff. The front desk staff was very welcoming, friendly, and professional…big shout out to to Zara (I think that’s her name) and there was another gentleman that I didn’t get his name (he was amazing as well). The bar and restaurant staff was excellent and attentive…thank you to everyone there, y’all are doing a fantastic job. Customer service is top notch.

As travel agents who see plenty of hotels, my daughter and I are completely impressed with Nickel Plate. As part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, this is a true boutique property, with a charming railroad ambiance that runs throughout the hotel common spaces and into the rooms. It is located in a trendy area of Indianapolis with a pretty walking trail set directly beside the hotel. Despite the upscale feel, it is very welcoming, with a lovely lobby and adjoining bar. The rooms are spacious, attractive, and very clean. Plenty of parking is conveniently provided in a parking garage directly opposite to the entrance. But best of all, the staff is phenomenal. We dealt with Aramis (I sincerely hope I spelled that correctly) during check-in, and with Dominic on the first day of our stay. Both were extremely friendly and professional, and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable. Aramis deserves a great deal of credit for finding a way to accommodate us when our original travel plans went awry and we ended up arriving in Indianapolis the night before our reservations. Our 4:00am check-in was fast and easy because he had everything ready for us when we arrived. And despite the early hours of the morning, he even located foam pillows to replace the feather pillows in the room, due to my allergies. Overall, it's a beautiful and very clean hotel with a great staff. I highly recommend it!!

I had the pleasure of staying here mid October 2025. The staff here were all so friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were great and the rooms were extremely clean. Very cool and unique hotel. Also, shout out to Afoma!! She always has such an infectious bubbly energy. It was a pleasure meeting her. Five stars overall.

Beautiful hotel with attention to detail in the little touches. Immediately upon entering, the staff were welcoming and incredibly kind. Rooms were clean, lobby area was comfortable and inviting. Off the bat, I want to apologize to this establishment. During my wife’s ICU stay, I stayed here and originally reviewed that the heart of this hotel and staff did not match the expectations of a Tapestry property with such high ratings. I am pleased to say I was wrong. Every staff member has completely turned that narrative around, going above and beyond to ensure my needs were met during my stay. I especially want to commend Don, Jamal, and Zach for their exceptional service. They gave me an escape to feel “normal” in the evenings after long days in the ICU, which was exactly what I needed. As for the hotel itself, the design and architecture are beautiful. A small but impressive detail: the room light also projects the room number onto the ceiling. The color schemes and décor blend naturally with the rail theme of the hotel without feeling forced or overdone. The rooms strike a perfect balance—spacious without wasted space. There are plenty of charging ports, including a wireless charger. The furniture feels solid and well-built, unlike many hotels where tables and nightstands seem flimsy. The thoughtful design shows in every detail. Housekeeping did an excellent job throughout my stay, which is something many hotels fall short on outside of the Conrad brand. Regarding amenities, I visited the on-site restaurant almost every night. The steak was underwhelming and far too salty, so I didn’t order it again. However, the meatloaf was excellent, proving the kitchen can deliver a great meal. The fries are seasoned, so if you prefer plain, I recommend asking for no seasoning. In the end, this hotel became my home away from home for nearly a week. My wife appreciated that I was close to the hospital, while I appreciated the comfort and ability to recharge. Thank you to all the staff for helping me through this difficult trial.

My wife and I spent the night here for an early Xmas gift/ staycation. We had a fantastic time. We've stayed at different hotels around the US and both agreed the Nickel Plate Hotel was top notch. Easy parking, great customer service, wonderful food and decor. Our room overlooked downtown fishers and we had the perfect getaway. Highly recommend. We also found out the restaurant inside isn't exclusive to guest so we may make another trip over to enjoy the igloos and food with friends. Thank you!

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had while traveling. From the moment I walked through the doors, everything felt welcoming, seamless, and thoughtfully managed. What truly made the stay exceptional, however, was **Joshua at the front desk**. He was absolutely wonderful. Joshua greeted us with genuine warmth and professionalism, making check-in smooth and stress-free. He took the time to ensure all my questions were answered, offered helpful recommendations, and went above and beyond to make sure I felt valued as a guest. His attention to detail and calm, friendly demeanor immediately set the tone for the entire visit. Throughout my stay, Joshua remained consistently attentive and accommodating. Whether it was assisting with special requests or simply offering a friendly greeting each time I passed through the lobby, he made a lasting impression. It’s rare to encounter someone who combines efficiency, kindness, and true hospitality so effortlessly. I wasn’t made to feel like a traveler- but actually felt as if we were friends just passing through. The hotel itself was immaculate, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Our room was very quiet, with many great features including a handheld steamer to help with wrinkled clothes, but it was Joshua’s exceptional service that truly elevated the experience from great to unforgettable. He is a tremendous asset to the team, and I sincerely hope his outstanding work is recognized. I will absolutely be returning — and it’s largely thanks to the remarkable service provided by Joshua at the front desk.
